Overview

The Bridge is seeking a Bank Housekeeper to join our staff bank. You will be responsible for cleaning all areas of the service, including wards, office spaces, bedrooms and the visitors area, in a safe and clean environment for our residents with long-term neurological conditions. Working closely with the maintenance team, you’ll ensure all areas are spotless and you can confidently deliver high standard cleaning services. As staff bank, enjoy the flexibility to choose shifts that align with your schedule at £12.85 per hour, including a 12.07% pay uplift and weekly pay. You’ll receive all necessary training to get you started and join a dedicated team committed to changing lives for the better.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining required security standards of the hospital by following relevant policies and procedures as defined by the Hospital.


• To be an active member of the team with a range of responsibility over the day-to-day operation.


• Maintaining excellent telephone etiquette and ability to meet and greet visitors in a professional manner.


• Establish and maintain good working relationships with all staff, visitors and service users.


• Helping create a positive culture.


• Undertaking any other tasks requested that are appropriate for the post.


• Attending mandatory and statutory training on an annual basis as required by Elysium Healthcare.

Where you will be working

Location: Lower East Street, Middlehaven, Middlesbrough, TS2 1SW

You will be working at The Bridge, a specialist inpatient neurological rehabilitation and complex care service. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team you will provide care and support for people with neurological illnesses, acquired brain and spinal cord injuries. As a care centre, this service is a home from home offering en-suite accommodation and spacious communal areas with dedicated therapy spaces, where truly person-centred care is delivered and where each individual is at the heart of everything.
