Spire Harpenden Hospital have a fantastic opportunity for a Bank Endoscopy Technician to join our friendly Endoscopy team.

Bank shifts will be offered Monday - Friday between 7am and 6pm

Spire Harpenden Hospital offers comprehensive private hospital services in a comfortable and relaxed environment to patients from London and its northern counties - Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire. As the largest employer in Harpenden, the hospital prides itself in offering excellence in clinical quality, customer service and cleanliness. We have 5 state of the art Theatres and modern Surgical and Day Care Wards covering all major surgery, orthopaedics, gynaecology, plastics and medical patients amongst others.

Duties and responsibilities
  • To assist the Endoscopy team to provide exemplary care in the Endoscopy Department by cleaning and decontamination of endoscopes and its traceability.
  • Operation of decontamination equipment, pushing and pulling trolley, stock control, lifting heavy sets and processing reusable medical devices.
Who we\'re looking for
  • Must have ENDO1 Course
  • Experience working in Endoscopy and Decontamination is essential.
  • Someone who can work in a team and has a caring demeanour.
  • Hospital experience is essential
  • Strong communication skills.
