A healthcare organization in Watford is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide skilled nursing care and act as a patient advocate. The ideal candidate will have experience in a community setting and possess skills in catheterisation, phlebotomy, and IV administration. This role requires effective communication and a current NMC registration. The position offers flexible working options and competitive pay.
To give skilled nursing care, based on principles of best practices and clinical evidence which includes,- Catheterisation- Phlebotomy- IV Administration- S/C Injections- Palliative support
Act as a named nurse with the support and supervision of the unplanned care specialist clinicians. To take continued responsibility for the holistic health needs assessment including referring to appropriate services for ongoing management. E.G District planned care nurses.
Act as the patients' advocate and to facilitate the patients' own choices with regards to nursing care, promoting independence and self-care as appropriate.
To identify and record new problems and report back to unplanned care advanced nurses and refer as appropriate to other MDT for ongoing management.
Maintain accurate, comprehensive, and contemporaneous records in accordance with trust and NMC guidelines.
To provide information and support to patients, relatives and other carers that promotes and optimises positive health.

£16.45 an hourWeekly pay will include: Basic pay + HCAS + 12.07% Holiday pay
