The role of Clinical Specialist Sonographer at the Royal Free Hospital is a vital one, encompassing a wide range of responsibilities within the Group Clinical Services division. Positioned at the 8a salary band, this role requires a high level of expertise in sonography, offering an opportunity to work across multiple sites including Royal Free, Barnet, and Chase Farm. The position is pivotal in ensuring the delivery of high-quality diagnostic imaging services, contributing significantly to patient care and clinical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a diverse range of sonographic procedures with a high degree of proficiency and autonomy.
• Maintain the highest standards of patient care, implementing best practices in sonography.
• Contribute to the development of protocols and guidelines.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, offering expert advice and support in sonographic matters.

Shift Patterns & Rotation

Some cross-site rotation through Barnet, Chase Farm, Edgware, Finchley and Hadley Wood hospitals may be required depending on service needs.
