Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Band 7 Oncology Pharmacist to join the multidisciplinary team within this Oxford Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a key role as a Medicines Management Lead, ensuring the safe, effective, and high-quality use of medicines across the hospital.

Responsibilities
  • Delivering expert clinical care and pharmaceutical advice to various parts of the hospital including pre-assessment clinics, outpatient departments, wards and theatres
  • Offer specialist pharmaceutical advice to clinicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
  • Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings and promote best practice in medicines optimisation
  • Support safe and effective prescribing, administration, and monitoring of medicines
  • Provide high-quality clinical pharmacy services to oncology patients
Requirements
  • GPhC Registration
  • Proven post-qualification experience in a clinical or hospital pharmacy setting
  • Background in oncology pharmacy
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team

  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, 09:00–17:00 or 08:00–18:00 (dependent on service needs)
