Job description

To work as an autonomous practitioner within the multidisciplinary Pelvic Health Service at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust based at Barnet and Chase Farm Hospital.To provide a highly specialised assessment and intervention for own varied caseload ofoutpatients within the speciality of Pelvic Health conditions, including male and female patientswho may have highly complex presentations, with the aim of facilitating short and long-term self management approaches to their condition.To be involved in the development of the Pelvic Health Service in consultation with the ClinicalTeam Lead, striving to ensure maximum efficiency, productivity, and cost effectiveness.To supervise, teach and appraise senior, junior, assistant and student physiotherapists asappropriate.To supervise, initiate and participate in evidence-based projects and lead in-service trainings.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for a Band 7 Pelvic Health Physiotherapist to support an enthusiastic, experienced and well-established pelvic health physiotherapy team. The successful candidate will be expected to:

Assess and treat patients with pelvic floor dysfunction and musculoskeletal obstetric conditions.Act as Team Lead for the Barnet and Chase Farm site supporting the clinical lead with service development and data collection.

The successful candidate is required to be able demonstrate the Trust values, the responsibilities of the job description and person specification. In particular you should have proven experience of working in pelvic health physiotherapy and involvement in service development.
