About the Role

Sanctuary Personnel is seeking a skilled and motivated Band 7 MSK Pharmacist to join a reputable healthcare service in Sidcup. This is a rewarding part-time locum opportunity, offering three days per week at an attractive hourly rate of £35.

The position is ideally suited to an experienced pharmacist looking for flexibility while contributing to high-quality patient care within the musculoskeletal (MSK) speciality.

Key Responsibilities

Enhance patients’ experience of medicines use within the MSK service by providing expert advice on treatment options and potential side effects.

Facilitate effective communication and education around medications, ensuring patients and healthcare professionals are informed and aligned.

Maintain compliance with clinical governance standards and NHS policy regarding medicines management.

Lead and contribute to medicines-related audits, driving quality improvement and best practice.

Support the development and review of Patient Group Directions (PGDs) and provide professional advice to senior clinical staff and service managers.

Contribute to the implementation of PGDs locally, ensuring consistency and high standards of care delivery.

Candidate Requirements

Previous experience within MSK or relevant clinical specialism.

Valid driving licence and access to a car (advantageous, not essential).
