Band 7 Locum MRI Radiographer
Band: 7
Location: East Midlands
Start Date: ASAP
Pay Rate: £30.00 p/h
Shift: 08.00pm – 18.00pm or 08.00am – 20.00pm/ Monday – Friday
About the role:
We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Band 7 MRI Radiographer to join our team in the East Midlands. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a progressive and supportive environment, where you will provide high-quality imaging services to support accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
Responsibilities:
As a Band 7 MRI Radiographer, you will be responsible for conducting MRI scans, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the procedure. You will operate state-of-the-art MRI equipment, adhere to imaging protocols, and produce high-quality diagnostic images. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in patient assessment and contribute to the continuous improvement of MRI services. Additionally, you may be involved in training and supporting junior staff and radiography students.
What we are looking for in a Radiographer:
-HCPC registration as a Radiographer
-Extensive experience in MRI scanning, with a strong understanding of various MRI techniques and -protocols
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-Strong commitment to patient care and safety
-Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
-Flexibility to work varying shifts, including extended hours
-Experience in mentoring or training junior staff is an advantage
