A regional healthcare provider in St Albans is seeking a Health and Safety Advisor to provide expert advice and support in fostering a safety culture. The role involves close collaboration with various teams to manage health and safety compliance and strategic planning. This role operates across multiple sites, and provides concise, timely and impartial advice, guidance and support to managers and staff to ensure the effectiveness of the Trusts’ arrangements for promoting safe environments and work activities.
As the Trusts’ competent person in health and safety, the post holder will act as an expert resource in providing the knowledge and skills to assist in the generation of a positive health and safety culture throughout the Trust, continuously working towards the implementation of external requirements under HSE and Care Quality Commission outcomes.
37.5 hrs per week, with flexible working options available for discussion.
