Job description
Overview

We are looking for a Drama/Music Therapist or Integrative Arts Therapist, with a passion for empowering others, working collaboratively, and interested in working with diverse groups. The role involves working across both the Women's Secure Blended Service and the Secure CAMHS service, located within Ardenleigh Hospital. This exciting role offers opportunities to provide individual and group interventions to both adults and young people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver individual and group interventions to adults and young people across the Women’s Secure Blended Service and Secure CAMHS.
  • Audit and evaluate therapeutic work, evidencing effectiveness of interventions for people who struggle to engage with more verbal focused interventions.
  • Collaborate with a large and diverse psychological therapies team, including clinical and forensic psychologists, arts therapists, specialist psychological practitioners and assistant psychologists.
  • Receive and provide clinical supervision and line management facilitated by experienced art psychotherapists.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to develop clinical skill set within a dynamic team in a busy NHS setting.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Qualified Drama/Music Therapist or Integrative Arts Therapist.
  • Experience working with diverse groups and individuals with complex and persistent mental health difficulties, including trauma survivors.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and be motivated, dynamic and forward thinking.
