Rotational Dietitian – West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust

West Hertfordshire NHS Trust has a vacancy at Watford General Hospital for a 6‑month fixed‑term Rotation Dietitian. The role is fixed at the Watford site, with most of the main caseload now based here.

Overview

This role is suitable for an experienced Band 5 Dietitian who wishes to develop knowledge, skills and experience in a supportive environment. The successful candidate will rotate across a range of clinical areas, including Surgery, General Medicine and Stroke.

Responsibilities
  • Provide dietetic care across clinical surgery, medicine and stroke units.
  • Collaborate with senior tier support to guide learning needs and uphold care standards.
  • Engage in robust supervision, probationary and appraisal processes.
Qualifications
  • Band 5 Dietitian experience.
  • Experience across surgical, medical and stroke settings is an advantage.
Training & Development

In‑service training, external course funding and links with the University of Hertfordshire provide opportunities for professional development.
