Band 6 Pharmacist – Medicine Supply Service in Northampton earning £26 per hour on a full-time basis with the position starting in September and ongoing thereafter. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Band 6 Pharmacist to join our Medicines Supply Service in vibrant Northampton. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional pharmaceutical care within our Berrywood dispensary. Enjoy the flexibility with a rota pattern that allows for work-life balance and the chance to actively contribute to patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide expert clinical validation of prescriptions for inpatients, discharges, and outpatient prescriptions, ensuring safe and effective use of medicines.
  • Perform technical accuracy checks on dispensed items, coordinating with Accredited Checking Technicians.
  • Label and dispense medications with precision in partnership with our dispensary team.
  • Work Monday to Friday with adaptable 7.5-hour shifts and one Saturday morning in four.
  • Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless medicine supply operations.
