Job Description:
Midlands Partnership NHS Trust is seeking a dedicated and skilled Locum Podiatrist to join our team in Stoke on Trent. This role is available to start as soon as possible and is expected to last for 12 weeks. We are open to both full-time and part-time candidates, with a preference for full-time availability.

What your responsibilities will be for this Podiatry role?

As a Locum Podiatrist, you will be responsible for managing a varied caseload that includes routine podiatry assessments, wound care clinics, and domiciliary visits. Your key duties will involve conducting comprehensive podiatric assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans for patients with a range of foot and lower limb conditions, and providing wound management as required. You will also deliver podiatry services in patients’ homes as part of our domiciliary care service, ensuring continuity of care and addressing the specific needs of each individual. Effective communication with patients, carers, and multidisciplinary team members will be essential to provide high-quality, patient-centred care. You will need to manage your time efficiently to handle the demands of both clinic-based and domiciliary appointments.

  • HCPC registration
  • Relevant experience in routine podiatry, wound care, and domiciliary settings
  • Strong clinical skills and the ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Availability to start as soon as possible for the full 12-week duration, with preference for full-time hours
