Job description

Job Title: Locum Acute Medical Physio
Banding: Band 6
Location: Exeter
Working Hours: 37.5 hours/week
Duration: Immediate start, running through to end March 2025
Rate: 24-27 per hour

Opening Paragraph:

We are seeking experienced locum physiotherapists to join our team during the winter at the Acute Hospital in Exeter (EX2 5DW). This role is essential to support our acute and general medical wards at the Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital. On-site accommodation might be possible upon request

Responsibilities

As a Locum Acute Medical Physio, you will be responsible for providing high-quality physiotherapy services to patients in acute and general medical wards. You will conduct assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, and work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best patient outcomes. Your role will also involve educating patients and their families about treatment plans and progress, as well as maintaining accurate patient records.

Qualifications and Experiences:

  • Band 6 HTE Framework
  • NHS experience preferred
  • Experience working on acute and general medical wards
  • Available immediately
  • Commitment to working through to end March 2025.
