A leading community health service provider in England is looking for a passionate professional for a part-time role in pediatric dietetics. You'll assess and support children with various nutritional needs and collaborate with healthcare teams. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of clinical experience, excellent interpersonal skills, and a degree in Nutrition and Dietetics. We are delighted to be expanding our team and are looking for a professional, confident, enthusiastic, team player who is passionate about working in paediatrics and contributing to our growing team. This role involves seeing children and their families in community clinics, offering a mixture of face to face, video, telephone and email support to patients, GP's and other community health professionals, including the 0-19 Family Wellbeing Team. The Children's Dietetic Team is responsible for providing expert advice and support for children with food allergy, faltering growth, feeding difficulties, restricted eating including children with autistic spectrum disorder, micronutrient deficiencies, as well gastro issues such as, constipation, IBS and annual reviews for coeliac disease. As well as providing dietary advice for a large range of nutritional needs, you will be expected to contribute to resources, audit and service development, as well as training for other health care professionals as necessary. We are happy to explore flexible or hybrid working options, depending on operational needs. This new permanent Band 6 post will play an integral role within the Community Dietetic Team.
