Working Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:00 (flexibility for 30 hours per week if required)
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Biomedical Scientist to join our client’s laboratory team based in Stafford. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive and professional environment, contributing to high-quality diagnostic services in haematology and blood transfusion.
The successful candidate will be fully conversant in haematology and blood transfusion, with specific experience in morphology. You will play a key role in delivering accurate and timely results that support effective patient care.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for performing a wide range of haematology and blood transfusion tests, including morphology analysis, in accordance with laboratory protocols. Duties include maintaining and troubleshooting laboratory equipment, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, interpreting complex test results, and maintaining accurate documentation. You will also collaborate with clinical teams to support diagnosis and treatment.
