  • Rate: £23.00 – £30.00 P/H (subject to experience)
Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Hand Therapist to join our team in Birmingham on a locum basis.

What will you be doing in this Physiotherapy role?

As a Band 6/7 Hand Therapist, you will provide high-quality therapy services for patients with hand and upper limb injuries. Your role will involve assessing and treating a diverse caseload, developing tailored rehabilitation programmes, and working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of hand therapy techniques, a commitment to patient-centred care, and the ability to work efficiently in a dynamic clinical environment.

Requirements:
  • HCPC registration as a Hand Therapist.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Relevant degree in Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy.
  • Proven experience in hand therapy, including working with a variety of hand and upper limb conditions.
  • Strong clinical skills and the ability to design and implement effective rehabilitation programmes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centred approach.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Experience in managing a caseload and maintaining accurate patient records.
