About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Adult Acute Speech and Language Therapist to join our team. This role involves working with a broad range of complex general medical conditions, specifically within an Adult Acute Stroke setting. The successful candidate will be part of a multidisciplinary team managing complex communication and dysphagia caseloads.

This position is available now and the pay rate for this role will be up to £34 per hour.

Main responsibilities of this Speech and Language Therapist vacancy:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat adults with a variety of complex medical conditions.
  • Manage a caseload of patients with communication and swallowing disorders.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
  • Conduct Videofluoroscopy assessments; experience in this area is essential.
  • Perform Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES); experience is desirable.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families.
