About the Role

We are currently seeking two compassionate and dedicated Band 5 Nurses to join our specialist care team. This is a rewarding opportunity to deliver high-quality palliative and end-of-life care, supporting patients and their families with dignity, respect, and empathy.

Location: Birmingham
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: £29,117 – £35,445 per annum (dependent on experience)

Tasks

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care to hospice patients.
  • Support patients with complex palliative needs, ensuring comfort and symptom control.
  • Work collaboratively with doctors, healthcare assistants, therapists, and wider MDT.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and care plans.
  • Participate in clinical assessments, medication administration, and monitoring.
  • Provide emotional support to patients and families.
  • Contribute to service improvement, audits, and quality initiatives.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse (NMC Pin required)
  • Experience in palliative, hospice, community, or acute care preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
