Overview

As an ED receptionist, you will play a key part in ensuring the best possible care for all patients attending the department by undertaking a range of administrative and reception responsibilities, that support both the clinicians and patient care.

We are seeking a confident individual, with excellent communication skills and a professional, tactful and diplomatic approach to work, within this very busy department. To work as part of a team, providing high quality front line administrative and clerical services within the department, delivering an excellent patient-focused service.

To respond to an ever changing, unpredictable and demanding workload, within the resources available, prioritising their own workload.

An understanding of confidentiality is essential, as well as a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

To ensure accurate patient information is recorded in a timely manner, to support the clinical flow of patients at the "front door" of the Trust.
