Pay

• From £16.00 per hour
• Paid weekly

Main Duties of Bakery Operative

• Measuring and combining ingredients using scales, mixers and ovens and other equipment to make baked goods such as sponges.
• Checking ingredients and finished goods to ensure that each item meets food safety and highest quality standards.
• Completing relevant production records as required.
• Loading and unloading products by maintaining cleanliness and tidiness.
• Following instructions issued by Bakery Supervisor / Bakery Team Leader. Ensuring compliance with all Food Safety and Health and Safety standards of the company.
• Any other duties, commensurate with the post.

Skills

• Basic English and Math’s are required.
• Ability to read and follow recipes.
• Strong communication, time and resource management, and planning skills.
• Attention to detail, especially when performing quality inspections of ingredients and products.
• Good organizational skills.
