Accountabilities
  • Collaborating with a cross-functional team to maintain a quality-first mindset.
  • Defining and executing test strategies, including creating detailed test cases.
  • Championing quality and promoting best practices within teams.
  • Driving test automation through OOP-based frameworks.
  • Exploring and developing performance testing strategies.
  • Owning test estimation, reporting status, and escalating issues.
  • Enhancing CI/CD visibility by integrating automated tests into CI tooling.
  • Managing defects proactively by working closely with developers.
  • Executing manual testing for exploratory and functional requirements.
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience in backend QA testing with a focus on automation.
  • Experience in testing and automating APIs in microservices and monolithic architectures.
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript for automation tests.
  • Experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining quality and deadlines.
  • Understanding of testing methodologies and defect management.
  • Capability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in application and test environments.
  • Basic knowledge of performance testing principles.
  • Experience in testing mobile applications on both iOS and Android.
