Job description

Delta Power Equipment is a full-service equipment dealership with 380 employees providing sales, service and parts support at multiple locations across Ontario. Delta Power Equipment is looking for people who are passionate and who want to make a difference in the lives of our customers.

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

• Deliver and pickup equipment and machinery at various Delta Power locations, other dealerships and customer farms.
• Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle.
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules.
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures.
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Valid Class AZ license.
• Minimum 3 months of Class AZ driving experience.
• Knowledge of proper road rules, trip inspections, load safety.
• Professionalism in customer service
