Purpose of the Job
Responsible for AWO market development, customer acquisition, converting inquiries into technical & commercial proposal according to Sulzer norms, standards and HSE requirements. Working with Sales team to convert quotation into profitable orders and achieve departmental budgeted AWO OI. Assist in Project execution preparation and AWO service development.
Main tasks and responsibilities
- Develop and grow the AWO Market including but not limited to market penetration and acquisition in Refinery, Petrochemical, Power and Pulp and Paper sector across East Asia Pacific
- Work with TFS Sales to prepare Bidding Documents including technical & commercial queries, project cost estimation, T&C revision, and proposals submission according to RFQ requirements
- Review bidding project T&C, seek comments from Sulzer Legal & TFS Sales Manager and participate in negotiations with customers
- Prepare ITB for sub-contracting service and coordinating with procurement department to optimized project sub-contracting costing for bidding purpose
- Follow up on the project kick start, plan, execution, monitoring and work closely with related personnel to resolve project related issues
- Continuously explore for new manufacturing method or new external providers to support the production
- Manage and maintain CRM system with accurate and frequent lead, opportunity information
- Travel on short notice for Sales and Tendering related activities
- Accountable for departmental Opportunity creation, customer acquisition, order intake & profitability
- Support project handover from Sales to Project Management
- All other duties as relevant to the Tendring/Sales function
Key Interfaces
- With Front Sales from Sulzer Business Units and other MTCS Countries Front Sales on TFS related Services
- Interaction with customers daily
- Interaction with Sulzer Project Management Team and Customer representatives
- Coordination and communication with global technical/R&D team
Minimum Job Requirements
Education requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Welding class knowledge
Job experience
- 10 years of work experience
- Minimum 5-years’ site experience
- Site execution and preparation
- International tendering/sales
Knowledge requirements (professional, technical, language)
- General computer & software skills
