AV Service Engineer

Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 (DOE)

Location: London - Home / Field Based

08:00 – 17:00 | Monday - Friday

Role

Attend service and preventative maintenance visits to clients throughout London and surrounding areas, minimising downtime for clients within the region.

Duties
  • Attend out reactive service calls, liaising with clients and resolving their issues quickly and effectively.
  • Carry out pro‑active preventative maintenance visits.
  • Fault finding and troubleshooting network related issues.
  • Act as the point of contact for clients when on site, keeping them informed of any progress.
  • Provide training and mentorship to Junior Engineers.
  • Troubleshooting control system and DSP issues.
  • Maintain up to date service documentation.
What You'll Need
  • Minimum 3 years AV experience with strong fault–finding and troubleshooting of audiovisual systems.
  • Understanding of networking principles.
  • Technical knowledge of AV controls, audio DSPs and IPTV systems; experience with Crestron, QSYS, Poly Logitech and Mediastar highly beneficial.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
