Job summary

A leading automotive recruitment agency is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician / MOT Tester to join a dealership in Warrington. The role involves diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on various vehicles. Applicants should possess Level 3 certification in City & Guilds or IMI and have a full UK driving licence. Competitive salary of up to £40k plus benefits is offered. This is a full-time position with some Saturday hours required.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in a similar role, preferably in a franchised dealership.
  • Motor Vehicle Technician background within the UK automotive industry.
  • Full UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of vehicles.
  • Uphold manufacturer and safety standards across all tasks.
  • Mentor junior technicians where appropriate.

    8.30 - 12.30 SALARY: up to 40k plus benefits Flame Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Service Technician / MOT Tester for our client’s main dealership in Warrington.

You will need to have previous Service Technician / Diagnostic Technician / Master Technician / Vehicle Technician / Automotive Technician / Motor Mechanic / Car Mechanic / Car Technician / MOT Tester experience in a main or franchised dealership or an independent workshop.

You will also need a full UK driving licence and tools.

Duties
  • Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of vehicles.
  • Completing vehicle health checks and documentation accurately.
  • Liaising with service advisors and ensuring clear communication with customers where needed.
  • Upholding manufacturer and safety standards across all tasks.
  • Mentoring junior technicians where appropriate and leading by example.
About you
  • Experienced Vehicle Technician level qualifications.
  • Extensive experience in a similar role, preferably in a franchised dealership.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to show initiative and work independently, as well as part of a team.
  • A full UK driving licence.
