Automotive Paint Shop Technicians – full-time on-site roles located in Ballinderry Upper, Lisburn.

Lisburn Auto Salvage is a family-run vehicle recovery and salvage service established in 1962. Collaborating with some of Northern Ireland's largest vehicle insurers, we have grown into one of the region's prominent recovery and salvage agents. In 2023 we opened a state of the art Bodyshop specialising in an exceptional vehicle repair package, providing the best quality repair and the utmost care for clients and their cars. Role Descriptions

These are full-time on-site roles for Automotive Paint Shop Technicians, located in Ballinderry Upper, Lisburn. The Automotive Paint Shop Technicians will be responsible for tasks such as preparing vehicle body parts for painting, painting vehicle body parts to a pristine finish, liaising with the Bodyshop manager, using various tools and equipment, following safety protocols, and maintaining a clean workspace. Additionally, the technicians will ensure the quality of repairs meets industry standards and collaborate with team members to achieve efficient operations.

Qualifications
  • Experience with automotive refinishing
  • Proficiency in using tools and equipment related to automotive bodywork
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices in an automotive workshop
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality repairs
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions
  • Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous
  • Relevant certifications or qualifications in automotive bodywork are beneficial
