About the Role

We are seeking to hire an Automation Managed Service Lead to join the team in Impact Engineering. This role is based on a key customer site in Northern Ireland. This role involves leading and managing a team of cross-functional engineers on a customer site.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of cross functional engineers on a customer site
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Report on key metrics to the Impact Engineering Leadership team
  • Project Manager for all Impact projects on site ensuring timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the client, managing day-to-day relationships and addressing service-related concerns.
  • Implement and maintain effective monitoring, reporting, and escalation processes
  • Manage resource allocation to ensure service delivery is maintained without disruption
  • Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance service quality and efficiency
  • Ensure that best practices, standards, and compliance requirements are adhered to in service delivery

Qualifications

  • 15+ years’ experience of life sciences with growing levels of responsibility
  • Technical degree in Engineering or related discipline
  • Further post graduate qualifications in project management highly desirable

  • Energy, passion and vision to drive growth strategy
  • Technical background in DeltaV DCS and Siemens/Rockwell PLC’s a strong advantage.
