A global manufacturing firm is seeking an experienced Automation Engineer based in Plymouth. You will provide day-to-day support for controls and systems, lead automation strategies, and ensure compliance with ISO9001 standards. The role requires solid experience in programming PLCs and working in regulated environments. This position offers a static day shift with competitive benefits. Immediate right to work in the UK is necessary.
Experienced Automation Engineer required for global manufacturer based at their site in Plymouth. In this pivotal role, the successful candidate will provide day‑day support for moulding equipment controls, software, and systems to ensure production continuity. You will also lead the site's journey into Automation, driving improvements in safety, efficiency, quality and compliance. You will play a key role in developing and delivering the client's Automation strategy, ensuring existing systems remain reliable, validated and compliant with ISO9001 and other global standards.
The successful candidate will be required to work a static day shift comprising of Monday to Thursday 08:30 to 17:00 and Friday's 08:30 to 14:30.
