Job description

The successful candidate will be an Auto Door Engineer who is proficient in various disciplines, capable of handling a range of maintenance and repairs on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, diagnose/repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues, and respond to emergencies for all automatic door systems.
• Assist with new installations, commissioning, and liaise with contractors, ensuring compliance with specifications and safety standards.
• Ensure work adheres to safety regulations, conduct inspections, and maintain a safe working environment.
• Provide excellent service, communicate effectively, and report issues to relevant personnel within the university and FM company.
• Manage and maintain spare parts inventory and order necessary materials.
• Possess a strong understanding of automatic door systems and the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Assist the team with other duties as required.

Schedule

Hours:

• Monday - Friday.
• 3 weeks 07:00 - 15:30 & 1 week of 09:30 - 18:00
• Overtime & weekend flexibility required.
• On-Call schedule available.
