We are working with a highly regarded, leading firm of Chartered Accountants and Business Advisers with a strong presence across the UK. Their Winchester office is continuing to grow and is now looking to appoint an Audit Senior to strengthen the audit team.

Responsibilities

You will play a key role in the delivery of audit assignments, working closely with Managers and Partners while taking increasing responsibility for your own portfolio.

• Leading and executing audit fieldwork, primarily on-site at client premises
• Planning audits, identifying key risk areas, and ensuring work is fully and accurately documented
• Preparing statutory financial statements from client records
• Completing audits for Manager and Partner review
• Supervising, coaching, and supporting junior team members
• Building strong, long‑term relationships with clients
• Contributing to the achievement of team revenue and profitability targets

Requirements

• ACA or ACCA qualified, but part‑qualified candidates with the necessary experience, nearing the end of their studies will also be considered.
• At least 2 years' audit experience within a UK accountancy practice
• Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS, and auditing standards
• Experience leading audits.
• High attention to detail with a proactive, solutions‑focused mindset
• Confident communicator with strong client‑facing skills
• Experience supervising or mentoring junior staff
