Job Profile for Audit Senior - GP

Due to continued growth, our client, a leading independent chartered accountancy practice in Leeds, is seeking an Audit Senior to join their dynamic and forward-thinking team. This well-established firm provides a full suite of accounting, audit, and tax services to a diverse client base, ranging from small businesses to AIM-listed companies, primarily across Yorkshire. Committed to delivering exceptional service, they take pride in building long-term client relationships. In this role, you will work closely with Audit Managers and Partners, taking ownership of audit files and drafting financial statements. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual looking to develop within a supportive and professional environment.

Responsibilities

• Attend on-site audit fieldwork, meeting clients at their premises
• Liaise with clients' senior management team and lead the audit team onsite
• Report to one of our Audit Managers or direct to a Partner
• Take responsibility for the completion of audit files
• Draft audited financial statements for a range of clients

Qualifications & Requirements

• Qualified/part-qualified ACA/ACCA
• Audit experience in an accountancy practice
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work as part of a growing team, dealing with clients and other team members
• Experience with ProAudit, IRIS and SAGE would be preferable

Salary & Benefits

• Circa £30,000 - £35,000
• Working hours: 38 hours a week
