Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is seeking a proactive Audit Manager in Weybridge to deliver high-quality audit services. This role involves managing client relationships and overseeing the audit process from planning to completion. Candidates should have strong knowledge of UK GAAP and be ACA or ACCA qualified, with proficiency in Microsoft Office. Experience as an Audit Manager and knowledge of Mercia audit programs are desirable. This position offers a competitive salary of up to £75,000.

Qualifications

• Experience with FRS 101 and IFRS is desirable.
• 2-3 years’ experience as an Audit Manager is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor the audit department's work in progress.
• Take direct responsibility for your own portfolio of clients.
• Review complex and group audit assignments and finalise audit opinions.
• Support departmental profitability through effective recovery rate management.
• Lead and support the audit team, including appraisals, performance management, and objective setting.
• Manage stakeholder relationships, meet with clients, and update Partners and Directors on progress.

Skills

Strong working knowledge of UK GAAP (FRS 102 and FRS 102 1A)

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

Education

ACA or ACCA qualified

Tools

Caseware (cloud and desktop)
