Role Overview

This Audit Manager position offers a compelling opportunity for an experienced audit professional to drive strategic audit delivery, mentor talented teams, and develop innovative client solutions. You will play a pivotal role in managing audit engagements, developing client relationships, and supporting the firm's continued growth and excellence.

Audit Manager Responsibilities:
  • Plan, manage, and control comprehensive audit fieldwork across a diverse client portfolio
  • Monitor and report on audit performance against key performance indicators
  • Develop and implement strategic solutions to address audit challenges
  • Prepare complex financial statements with exceptional attention to detail
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
  • Translate complex technical matters into clear, actionable insights
  • Lead, coach, and develop junior team members
  • Conduct in-depth technical research to support client and internal team needs
  • Assist Audit Partners in departmental development and strategic growth
  • Network actively within regional business communities
  • Collaborate across multiple office locations and client sites
Audit Manager Requirements:
  • ACA or ACCA qualification with substantial audit management experience
  • Proven track record of leading and developing audit teams
  • Comprehensive understanding of UK Financial Reporting Standards
  • Advanced knowledge of International Auditing Standards
  • Exceptional leadership and coaching skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Experience with Caseware audit software preferred
  • Sage Accounts software knowledge advantageous
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
