Overview

An Audit & Accounts senior opportunity to join a small well-established Audit team working with a variety of clients including SMEs, charities and UK subsidiaries of international companies. This role offers the opportunity to further develop experience across all aspects of the audit cycle as well as progressing your skills in statutory accounts preparation.

Our client are an established accountancy firm with new offices and a growing team based in Buckinghamshire. They prioritise both providing a high quality of service to their clients and a collaborate, supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

The Audit & Accounts senior responsibilities will include:

  • Leading on audits from planning to completion, working closely with the managers and partners
  • Taking leadership for a small team and reviewing junior team members work
  • Preparing and reviewing year-end accounts
  • Supervising and supporting with training junior staff members
  • Prioritising delivery of a high quality of service to clients
Qualifications

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) with previous audit experience gained in a professional services firm and strong technical accounting knowledge. You will have good exposure to audits from planning to completion and looking to take leadership on audits; supervising junior members of the team.
