  2. Demonstrable post-qualification experience of working with complex patients

Education/Qualifications/Training

Essential criteria

  • BSc. in Audiological Science
  • HCPC CS / AHCS registration

Desirable criteria

  • MSc. in Audiological Science and have successfully attained the CAC, HTS, STP (or equivalent).
  • Study to doctorate level

Continuous Professional Development

Essential criteria

  • Evidence of current CPD

Desirable criteria

  • Advanced course/s in Audiology or Management
  • Mentoring/coaching/leadership qualification or training

Previous Experience

Essential criteria

  • Demonstrable post-qualification experience working autonomously in both adult & paediatric testing in both diagnostic & rehabilitative areas.
  • Good knowledge and experience of NHS networks/referral routes.
  • Experience of clinical audit and service development

Desirable criteria

  • Have evidence of management/supervisory experience.
  • Have evidence of management/supervisory experience.
  • Mentoring/coaching/leadership qualification or training
  • Evidence of research and presentations at a scientific forum

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Essential criteria

  • Knowledge of all standard and advanced audiological test procedures with specialist knowledge in paediatric and/or vestibular fields.
