Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is seeking an experienced Atlassian Applications Support Engineer for a remote contract position. The role involves maintaining and administering Atlassian Jira and Confluence applications. Candidates should be certified Atlassian administrators with hands-on experience in application support and excellent communication skills. The position has a duration of 6 months starting from 1st July 2024.

Calling for an Atlassian Applications Support Engineer based in Europe for a remote contract opportunity!

Start date: 1st July 2024

Duration: 6 months + possible extensions

We are looking for an Atlassian applications support specialist to maintain and administer the Atlassian Jira and Confluence applications under the supervision of the current Jira application owner and in close collaboration with the confluence application owner and system administrator unit.

The candidate should be a certified Atlassian application administrator with experience in application maintenance, upgrade activities, as well as general administration of Atlassian applications and experience in understanding business needs.

Required skills and experience:

• Supporting of a large scale Atlassian applications production environments
• Administration of Atlassian applications for Data Centre and Cloud/SaaS
• Translating business needs into Jira/Confluence configuration.
• Excellent communication skills, spoken and written English.
• Proven hands-on experience in the support and maintenance of Atlassian applications.
• Experience in administrating Jira Service Management and Software development type of projects.
• Experience in administrating Confluence application.
