Overview

Carbon60 are currently looking for an ATA32 Engineer to join a client of ours based in Filton. This is a contract position working until the end of June 2026. There is a hybrid aspect to this role once the successful candidate is settled into the role.

Our client is a leading aircraft manufacturer with sites not only in the UK, but globally. As the ATA32 Gears Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in identifying and resolving in‑service issues affecting the landing gear products used across the company's aircraft fleet.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborating with the In‑Service Engineering Department to investigate and understand the root causes of major in‑service problems and events that could impact the airworthiness of the company's aircraft.
  • Conducting engineering studies, in liaison with landing gear suppliers, to propose effective solutions, which may involve equipment redesign.
  • Providing timely responses to customer queries to minimise aircraft downtime due to landing gear equipment failures.
  • Developing engineering solutions and studies to support the company's customer‑facing teams in addressing operational interruptions caused by landing gear‑related issues.
  • Continuously expanding your technical expertise and knowledge of landing gear products to become self‑sufficient in your tasks.

Contract Details

As this is a contract position we have both PAYE and Umbrella rates available.
