Job description

We are working with a market-leading international firm who are seeking an Associate Solicitor to join their Restructuring and Bankruptcy team within their London office.

The Role

The successful candidate will join an innovative Restructuring practice, advising the firm’s global client base on all aspects of special situations, restructuring, and insolvency. The candidate’s duties will encompass key financing instruments, such as bank loans, high yield debt, and intercreditor arrangements.

The candidate will support a diverse, high-profile client base in restructuring-related proceedings, often with a multi-jurisdictional element. The candidate will also demonstrate a willingness to participate in business development initiatives while managing client relationships.

Essential Criteria
  • 1-4 PQE;
  • Strong background in insolvency and restructuring related proceedings within a medium to large international or City firm;
  • Ability to demonstrate strong commercial awareness;
  • Outstanding academics;
  • Technically excellent;
  • Negotiation skills;
  • Willingness to become involved in business development;
  • Ability to work independently and as a team.
