As part of continued expansion, our client is looking to recruit an experienced Corporate Solicitor to join its well-established Corporate team, with the role based in either Southampton or Bournemouth.

This position offers the chance to be involved in high‑value, complex corporate work from the outset, advising a broad spectrum of clients ranging from owner‑managed businesses to regional organisations and nationally recognised brands.

The Opportunity

This role is well suited to a solicitor with around 4–6 years’ post‑qualification experience who is keen to take the next step within a respected corporate practice. The successful candidate will be involved in a wide variety of transactional and advisory work, including:

  • Advising on mergers and acquisitions, reorganisations, joint ventures and shareholder arrangements
  • Running matters independently, while also assisting senior colleagues on larger and more complex transactions
  • Developing and maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring consistently high levels of service
  • Contributing to business development activities and the ongoing growth of the corporate practice
Candidate Profile
  • 4–6 years’ PQE gained within a corporate law environment
  • Strong technical ability supported by a solid academic background
  • Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills
  • A proactive approach to business development, with the ability to attract work and build long‑term client relationships
  • Existing contacts or a referral network would be advantageous, though not essential
  • The ability to work independently while also thriving in a collaborative team setting
