Overview

Are you ready to make a difference in clinical research? Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a dedicated and motivated Band 4 Associate Research Practitioner to join our vibrant Research and Innovation department. This is an exciting opportunity for both internal and external candidates to be part of a forward‑thinking team delivering a diverse portfolio of clinical research studies.

As an Associate Research Practitioner, you will play a vital role in supporting and managing care pathways for research participants, including recruitment, education, monitoring, and accurate data collection. Clinical experience is advantageous, but full training will be provided – making this the perfect step into the clinical research world.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Principal Investigators, Lead Research Nurses and multi‑disciplinary teams to develop and deliver a high‑quality clinical trials service.
  • Support the informed consent process, ensuring patients understand their participation and rights.
  • Maintain meticulous data collection and compliance with Good Clinical Practice (ICH GCP) guidelines.
  • Provide cover for colleagues and assist in audit activities as needed.
  • Act as a professional role model, promoting best practice within research activities.
