We’re recruiting on behalf of a respected consultancy in the West Midlands that’s looking to appoint an ambitious Associate Planner to strengthen its growing planning team. This is an ideal opportunity for a seasoned planner ready to step into a more influential role with genuine autonomy and career progression.

Responsibilities
  • Leading and coordinating complex planning applications and appeals
  • Delivering strategic planning advice to clients across multiple sectors
  • Managing project teams and mentoring junior planners
  • Preparing and presenting high-quality reports, statements, and evidence
  • Supporting business development and helping to grow the regional client base
What We’re Looking For
  • MRTPI chartered with several years’ experience in consultancy or local authority
  • Proven track record delivering major or complex applications
  • Strong client-facing skills and the ability to build lasting relationships
  • Confident, commercially aware, and able to manage multiple projects independently
  • Excellent knowledge of national and local planning policy
