Do you love science but feel that a career at the bench isn’t enough to sate your desire to learn more about scientific research? Do you enjoy reading papers outside your chosen area of research? To help us build on the success of the portfolio, we’re seeking an editor with experience in clinical or human health research (e.g. RCT, observational studies, biomarker studies, prevention studies, population health), either in the context of healthy aging or focused on one or multiple diseases or conditions associated with aging (e.g. dementia, CVD, cancer, osteoarthritis, sarcopenia, frailty, intrinsic capacity). The ideal candidate has received formal training in clinical research, epidemiology (incl. social epi.), public and global health, or any other clinical and population health disciplines linked to the scope of the journal. They possess a critical eye, have a deep understanding of their own subject and interests beyond it, can think on their feet, and are passionate about aging research. Expert knowledge of statistics, bioinformatics, and/or machine learning is desirable.
