Job summary

A global law firm is seeking a Litigation Supervisor in Birmingham to independently manage complex intermediate/multi-track cases while mentoring junior team members. Candidates should be Qualified Solicitors with a strong background in high value litigated Credit Hire claims. The position offers a hybrid working model and requires excellent negotiation and communication skills.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years' experience handling High value litigated Credit Hire claims.
  • 18 months+ experience in a supervisor capacity dealing with litigated Credit Hire claims.
  • Proven ability to manage a caseload independently.

Responsibilities

  • Independently manage a caseload of Fast track / Intermediate complex, Credit Hire matters.
  • Supervise and provide training to less experienced colleagues.
  • Draft and file court documents.

We are recruiting aLitigation Supervisor to manage complex intermediate/ multi-track cases. You'll handle your own caseload while also having the opportunity to mentor junior team members, contributing to the team's growth and success.

Team

Working within our Motor team, you will progress claims across multiple litigation stages on behalf of top-tier motor insurance clients. You will utilise our hybrid working model from one of our offices in Birmingham or Manchester.

Key Responsibilities
  • Independently manage a caseload of Fast track / Intermediate complex, Credit Hire matters
  • Supervise, Provide training, guidance and support to less experienced colleagues
  • Draft and file court documents
  • Lead negotiations to case progression
  • Ensure high-quality client service and compliance with internal and procedural standards
Required experience
  • Qualified Solicitor
  • Around 4+ years' experience handling High value litigated Credit Hire claims
  • 18 months+ experience in a supervisor capacity dealing with litigated Credit Hire claims
  • Proven ability to manage a caseload independently
  • Excellent negotiation, organisational, and communication skills
  • Formal legal qualifications are advantageous, but demonstrable practical litigation experience is crucial
