Overview

Associate Director - Water & Flood Risk. Based in Leeds, this is a leadership role in the delivery of major water and flood risk projects across the UK. The role combines technical expertise with leadership, client engagement and business development.

Responsibilities
  • Guide projects from strategy through to delivery.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships and mentor junior colleagues as the team grows.
  • Lead flood alleviation schemes for local authorities, surface water separation programmes with utilities, and provide advice to housing developers and infrastructure providers on flood risk and drainage challenges.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and support bid and business development activities.
Qualifications
  • Chartered with ICE or CIWEM.
  • Educated to degree level (or equivalent).
  • Proven experience leading flood risk or surface water projects.
  • Comfortable working across multidisciplinary teams and in client-facing situations.
  • Experience with ArcGIS, AutoCAD, Civils 3D and Microsoft Office would be beneficial; experience in bidding for new work is desirable.
  • Full UK driving licence; security clearance would be advantageous.
