A global biopharmaceutical company is seeking an Associate Director, Process Engineering for External Manufacturing Science & Technology in Uxbridge, UK. This role involves providing technical leadership for external partners producing viral vectors, oversight of compliance, and collaboration across teams to ensure effective production. Candidates should have at least 10 years of relevant experience in process development and solid knowledge of GMP regulations. There's a potential for significant travel as part of the position.

The role will provide technical oversight and leadership for external manufacturing partners producing our viral vector(s) and will serve as a key liaison between Kite and our UK‑based partners. It combines strategic and technical manufacturing oversight for routine operations and onsite technical support to ensure robust, compliant and efficient production of vector for clinical and commercial manufacturing.
The position will be based in the UK, but as part of external MSAT, domestic and/or international travel may be required up to 50% of the time.
