Job description

The Associate Director, Centre of Excellence (FM/RE) - Facilities & Workplace Excellence plays a pivotal role in shaping and elevating Teva's global workplace strategy. This role drives excellence in workplace experience, soft services, and operational culture across all FM operations. Partnering closely with regional FM teams and cross-functional stakeholders, the Associate Director ensures global consistency, embeds best-in-class standards, and drives long-term strategic objectives by improving efficiencies and reducing costs.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a global soft services transformation roadmap focused on standardization, supplier optimization, and cost efficiency
  • Partner with regional FM and cross-functional teams to drive operational and service performance improvements
  • Create, maintain, and continuously enhance global SOPs, SLAs, and KPIs for all soft service categories
  • Oversee our FM assessment program to ensure a consistent delivery of global service standards, compliance with our policies and SOP's and to identify opportunities for improved service delivery, supplier management, employee experience and cost management
  • Collaborate with Global Procurement to define the soft services supplier strategy, optimize the supplier base, and monitor supplier performance
  • Identify and prioritize high-impact initiatives to drive results; develop and track ambitious targets to measure and demonstrate improved soft services and workplace performance
  • Benchmark against best-in-class FM operations to foster a culture of innovation and excellence
  • Lead the development and refinement of global workplace strategies aligned with business goals, employee needs, and organizational culture
  • Partner with regional FM teams to deliver scalable, future‑ready workplace models
  • Lead research, benchmarking, and innovation initiatives focused on workplace design, flexible work approaches, technology enablement, and space optimization
  • Contribute to workplace design guidelines, experience principles, and operational readiness frameworks
  • Define and execute employee experience strategies across all points of the workplace journey
  • Collaborate with HR, IT, and FM functions to deliver a seamless, integrated workplace experience
  • Develop and manage the EX measurement framework, including NPS, service satisfaction, and occupancy metrics
  • Integrate sustainability as well as diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility (DEIA) principles into workplace strategy, service delivery, and design guidelines
  • Partner with sustainability teams to embed responsible practices across FM operations, including waste reduction, green fleet, and energy‑efficient soft‑services delivery
  • Develop and refine sustainability‑linked FM KPI's and monitor progress toward corporate ESG goals
  • Introduce programs and lead initiatives that showcase sustainability, DEIA and employee wellbeing through engagement and awareness campaigns
  • Design and deliver global learning programs, training curricula, and e‑learning content to strengthen the skills and capabilities across the FM organization and embed an FM Excellence culture
  • Establish and lead a global community of practice to enable knowledge sharing, innovation, and alignment across regions
  • Develop global FM communications – including newsletters, town halls, and success stories – to strengthen engagement and visibility of impact
  • Partner with Internal Communications to ensure clarity, consistency, and impact of FM messaging
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Facilities Management, Business, Hospitality or related discipline
  • 8+ years of experience in Facilities Management, workplace strategy, employee experience or related field
  • Requires working knowledge of a variety of functions such as manufacturing, R&D and supply chain
  • Demonstrated experience developing global standards and leading cross‑functional initiatives
  • Strong understanding of DEIA, sustainability practices, soft services operations and workplace culture
  • Prefer Operational Excellence experience in a regulated industry such as pharmaceutical or food processing industries, with familiarity of cGMP and other regulatory requirements
  • Experience working in a large global organization or matrixed environment
  • Proven ability to lead and prioritize multiple complex, high‑impact initiatives
  • Demonstrated capability of translating strategy into scalable, measurable programs
  • Advanced communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Executive presence with strong presentation, narrative and influencing capabilities
  • Results‑driven leadership mindset with a strong focus on client and business outcomes
  • Ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy whilst partnering effectively with senior leaders and teams
  • Solid financial acumen with experience operating effectively in dynamic, fast‑paced environments
