Job description

Applications are invited for a part-time Associate Dentist (2–3 days per week Thursday and Friday) to join an independent mixed NHS and private practice in beautiful Penrhyndeudraeth,Snowdonia, North Wales.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed clinician with full GDC registration, experience working within the NHS, and the confidence and skills to deliver high-quality private treatment.

NHS Wales Contract Reform – No UDA

Under the reformed NHS Wales contract, there are no UDA targets. Instead, you will receive a generous daily rate for NHS work, equivalent to high-value UDA performance in England. This structure allows you to work at a comfortable, patient-focused pace while maintaining excellent earning potential.

Private Work Private treatment is strongly supported:

• 50/50 remuneration split
• £6 per private plan patient on our popular bespoke dental plan
• Excellent opportunities for growth with steady patient demand

Clinical Support- We offer clinical support and mentorship as much or as little as you prefer, including access to in-house specialists across the Wooding Group.

About the Practice Penwood Dental Care is part of the family-run Wooding Group, who took over the practice in February 2024. Our practice benefits from:
