A standout opportunity has come up with our client, a leading global law firm, for an Associate to join their civil fraud team in London. You’ll be involved in some of the most high-profile, cross-border fraud disputes out there, working on complex and market-shaping cases from day one.

The Role

This position offers the chance to work on large-scale, multi-jurisdictional civil fraud cases, often involving complex asset recovery strategies and substantial values—many exceeding $1 billion. The team frequently acts on matters involving emergency relief such as freezing injunctions, search orders and related interim applications. The work is predominantly cross-border and often connected to enforcement of international arbitration awards and judgments.

The team offers a strong litigation pipeline, with associates gaining consistent exposure to court work, including appearances at hearings throughout the year. This is an environment where associates are entrusted with early responsibility and encouraged to take a proactive role in managing matters, liaising directly with clients, expert witnesses, and leading counsel.

Candidate Requirements
  • England and Wales qualified, or equivalent
  • 2-5 years qualified solicitor with experience in civil litigation, ideally with exposure to civil fraud, asset tracing, or enforcement matters
  • Strong understanding of English procedural law and experience with interim remedies such as freezing orders
  • Demonstrated interest in complex, cross-border litigation
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to work independently and within a team
  • Motivated, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple work streams under pressure
