Roles & Responsibilities
  • Targeted Interventions: Delivering structured literacy and numeracy booster sessions to small groups to close attainment gaps.

  • Classroom Assistance: Supporting the Class Teacher by preparing bespoke learning resources and managing the classroom environment.

  • Inclusion Support: Providing dedicated one-to-one assistance for pupils with specific learning needs or Education, Health and Care Plans.

  • Progress Tracking: Assisting with the recording of pupil observations and feedback to help monitor academic and social development.

  • Behaviour Management: Upholding the school's positive behaviour policy by encouraging self-regulation and a focused learning attitude.

  • Holistic Care: Supervising pupils during break times and school trips to ensure a safe and inclusive social experience.

Requirements
  • Qualifications: A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (such as NVQ Level 3) is highly desirable.

  • Experience: Proven experience working with primary-aged children within a UK school setting.

  • Skills: Strong literacy and numeracy skills to effectively support National Curriculum delivery.
